 HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT LOCATION: HOOK, HAMPSHIRE 

Salary: £14.32 per hour

​Job Type: Part Time Weekends / Full time Days and Nights | Permanent Role

​

The Role:

We’re looking for a kind, reliable, and compassionate female support worker to support a gentleman in his 40s to live independently in his own home. This is not just a job — it’s an opportunity to build a meaningful connection and improve someone’s quality of life.


Conditions include:

  • Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)

  • Dystonic Right Foot

  • Ehlers–Danlos Syndrome (EDS)

  • Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS)

  • Epilepsy

  • Chronic Prostatitis

  • Gastrointestinal complications related to EDS

  • Urological issues

Flexible Weekend Hours

What You’ll Be Doing

Every day is different, but you’ll be supporting with:

  • Daily routines and personal independence

  • Mobility and gentle physical support

  • Preparing meals

  • Light household tasks

  • Providing companionship and emotional support

Most importantly, you’ll be helping someone feel valued, supported, and understood.

​Specification

Our client is looking for the following attributes:

  • Someone warm, patient, and dependable

  • Comfortable supporting someone with complex health needs (training provided!)

  • Calm, positive, and a good communicator

  • Flexible to occasionally pick up extra shifts

Care experience is great, but personality and compassion matter most
