Harland Care Services Ltd is looking for experienced and compassionate Personal Care Assistants to support a male client living in his own home in Alresford, Hampshire (SO24).

​

Our client would like to maintain his independence, pursue his interests, and enjoy days out in the community. This role involves supporting him at home and in the community including driving him on a 2:1 basis to and from a local day centre (vehicle provided) several times a week and assisting him in accessing other social activities that he enjoys.

 

About the Client

The client lives with the following health conditions:

​

• Registered blind

• Degenerative disorder

• Learning difficulties

• Dementia

• PEG feeding

• Moving & handling requirements including hoist lift

• 2:1 support

​

He enjoys horror films, vintage toys, car boot sales, baking, bowling, visiting the pub, and living in a fun, warm home environment.

 

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking individuals who are positive, patient, and understanding. You will be supporting the client both at home and in the community.

Requirements:

• Day shift

• Flexibility to cover holiday/sickness

• Full-time availability

• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• Friendly and engaging personality

• Occasional weekend working will be required

​

Shift Pattern

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8am–10am and 3pm–8pm (7 hours per day)

• Additional day working 8am–8pm (12 hours)

• Plus sickness and holiday cover
