About the Role​

We are looking for compassionate Personal Care Assistants providing dedicated one-to-one support for a male client in Wythenshawe, Manchester.
The client is a disabled adult who is unable to walk. The role involves hands-on support with mobility, transfers, and daily activities, delivered in line with an established care plan.
This is a rewarding role supporting daily routines, personal care and medication. You will play a key role in promoting the client’s independence, safety, and overall wellbeing

Client Health Needs:

The client lives with complex medical needs, including:

• Brain Injury

• Limited vision one eye

• Wheelchair user

• Slurred speech

• Epilepsy

• Hoist

• Personal Care

Key Responsibilities​

• Deliver consistent, person-centred care in line with the client’s care plan

• Support independence and encourage engagement

• Assist with meal preparation and support with eating

• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals

• Ensure the client’s environment is safe, calm, and supportive always

• Flexibility to preferably work both days and nights​

Requirements

• Preferably with experience supporting individuals with complex health needs

• Calm, confident, and patient approach

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Preferably be a driver with a UK driving licence (25 years old plus for business insurance purposes)

• Experience using a ceiling hoist
