Harland Care Services Ltd are seeking a male carer / support worker (preferably with experience) for someone who would really benefit from the right person around him. ​​​​

Client Details

• Our client has a great sense of humour and enjoys a bit of banter, so someone who can take a joke and chat easily would be ideal.

• At the moment he is mostly housebound, but the goal is that in time he’d like to be able to get outside for short walks again.

• He has a dachshund called Toby, so being comfortable around dogs is a must.

What we’re looking for

• Someone who can sit and talk with our client, especially on the days when he’s feeling a bit low.

• This role would suit someone who is patient, supportive, and happy with quieter companionship, rather than someone who needs to be constantly on the go.

• Some light help around the home would also be appreciated, and it’s important that the person is willing to build a genuine rapport and get to know him well.
